Tiler

Bathla is a leading property development & construction company that combines talent, creativity and passion to deliver a diverse range of developments. Bathla has developed and constructed over 8,000 new dwellings since 1997. Based in Sydney’s Greater West, with an expanding footprint across New South Wales and beyond. We have earned a reputation for developing vibrant new communities, creating appealing house and land packages, as well as designing and building superbly well-appointed homes, free-standing townhouses and apartments.

We are seeking an experienced Tiler

Position: Full Time

Salary Range : $60,000 – $80,000

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work.
  • Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks and cleaning surfaces.
  • Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles.
  • Applying waterproofing systems.
  • Laying tiles on external and internal walls and floors to provide protective and decorative finishes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Must have industry employment experience.
  • Should have proven quality experience.
  • Must have all own tools and a reliable work car.
  • Must be licensed.
  • Should speak, read & write English.

Construction Manager – Residential Houses / Apartments

We are a fast growing builder and developer involved in turn key projects. Due to the growth in our work we are looking for an experienced and reliable construction manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress in a timely and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, implementation and scheduling of multiple projects
  • Direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Plan and coordinate subcontractors
  • Meet contractual conditions and requirements
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis
  • Prepare internal and external reports
  • Analyse, manager and mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction

Requirements

  • Degree in construction management / Civil engineering
  • Proven working experience in construction management of town houses / high rise and infrastructure development
  • Knowledge of construction management processes
  • Expert knowledge of construction details
  • Experienced in conflict and crisis management
  • Experienced in quality control
  • Leadership and resource management skills
  • Time and project management skills

Cabinet Maker

Position: Full Time

Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Assembling of Joinery and cabinet making
  2. Schedule production and machine utilisation
  3. Minimise materials waste
  4. Ensure a safe working environment
  5. Liaise with site foremen to ensue timely delivery and installation of kitchens
  6. Experience with CNC and edgebander is added advantage

Our Ideal Candidate:

  1. Trade qualified
  2. Read plans and program CNC is advantageous
  3. Good leadership and organizational skills
  4. Ability to read plans/drawings

This job requires light lifting of cabinets and loading of truck for kitchen delivery when required.

You will thrive in a very fast paced environment with conflicting priorities and every changing timelines. You are self motivated, able to work autonomously and will have a reputation for working efficiently, delivering on time and on budget.
