We are seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to support our in-house town planning team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- An understanding of the development process from acquisition through to construction.
- Capability to research and analyse development issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Feasibility and due diligence.
- Preparation of Statement of Environmental Effects (Subdivision/Multi-Dwellings/Residential Flat Buildings/Mixed Use), Clause 4.6 Variation Statements, RFI responses and any other relevant correspondence /reports.
- Lodgement of Development Applications and Section 4.55/4.56
- Preparation of Planning Proposals.
- Liaison with local Councils and agencies.
- Assistance with Land & Environment Court appeals.

Skills and experience:
- Formal Town Planning qualifications.
- Minimum 2+ years Town Planning knowledge and experience in Australia.
- Town planning experience with private developer/builder, consultancy, local or state government in NSW.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the statutory planning and NSW planning system.
- Highly motivated to establish a long-term private sector town planning career and continue professional development.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work across several projects.
- Demonstrated excellent communication (both written & verbal) and organizational skills.
