Position: Full Time
Salary Range – $150,000 – $200,000 per year
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and co-ordinate projects to deliver outcomes, which meet the required standards, on time and to a budget while satisfying the needs of the Company
- Lead and control resources, including employees, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in respect of performance indicators including Program, Budget, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), quality and business strategy.
- Develop and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment at all times.
- To be responsible for the profitability of allocated projects.
- Communicate openly and honestly at all times.
- Identify and predict planning, programming and resourcing issues that require resolution.
- Resolve proactively all planning, programming and resourcing issues.
- Ensure Compliance with the Code of Practice for the construction Industry.
- Generate construction programmes to ensure detailed planning of safety, resources, time, cost and quality
- Deliver projects in accordance to building specifications, standards and manage the specific contractual requirements
- Manage tender interviews, letting of contracts, including subcontractor negotiations
- Implement and manage project delivery systems.
Qualifications and Experience requirements:
- Formal qualifications in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- Experience with Private Developer/Builder in Australia
- Experience within trades services, or another related building industry service
