This is a high volume, complex, constantly changing environment within a dynamic team. They are looking for an experienced, outcome focused and proactive Payroll Officer to join their team.

The role:

The primary responsibilities of this end-to-end Payroll position are to prepare process and reconcile all weekly and fortnightly payroll for approximately 600+ employees.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintenance of accurate pay records and time keeping data
  • Enterprise Agreement and Award interpretation
  • Calculations relating to T&A records
  • Regular compliance reporting
  • Month end tasks and leave analysis
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business

To be successful in this role you MUST have:

  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience in AUSTRALIA Proven experience across payroll including payroll tax, termination calculations, superannuation
  • Exposure to payroll system configuration and T&A systems
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship development skills
  • Ability to work well in a close knit team
  • High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
